Ok, being new I have no idea where to get Blackrock!!!

Any suggestions??

I think the only way to get it now is having a GM miner dig in caves, then hope for some luck (randomly gets dug up like the newer gems). Watch out for BR elementals spawning too.

Unless you happen to be in Fel, and if your lucky enough, kill someone, grab some un-insured armor, and hold it ransom for a few pieces of BR.

I just turned in the two pieces of microscopic black rock (the regular diamond graphic hued dark grey) I've gotten while mining since I returned to the game last December. I may have more that I just cannot see. *gets glasses*

Sword of Stampede & a verite hammer were the rewards.

Do you mean your work place has blocked the site or is there an issue with UOGuide itself?

Finally someone who really got blackrock from mining, do you remember if you were in a cave? So many people say you need to be in a cave to get the blackrock... i just wanna know is the rumour true.

Cerwin I read a post today (quoting an EA employee) that stated you can get black rock "anywhere" you can mine. To late tonight for me to want to look it up. I will try to find the link for you tomorrow.
