I wish to apologize to you all as well, I tried to log on for as long as I could but things where a little hectic at home. I think I'm going to start another thread to help us find a good time to play as well.

Eo, I like your idea of having, say, 3 regular hunt times that people can choose to participate in. Personally, my schedule is very flexible in that the only nights I'm not available are Mon/Thurs, and I have no husband here nagging me to get off the computer

The cats nag, but they're easily distracted by catnip.

The only caution I would offer in that scenario is that people not feel OBLIGATED to hunt just because there is a hunt going on. I've seen comments fly on guild chat about there being XXX number of people online but only XXX helping with the hunt. Many of us like to do things OTHER than hunt, and especially if there are more hunts going on, it is more likely that on occasion, a player may not be in the mood to hunt at that time or would rather do crafting or something. Players should not be penalized (even if only verbally) for not hunting. It takes all different types of skills to keep the guild going!

That said, I'm all for the idea of multiple hunting times, and hunt destinations and a hunt leader declared the day before (for research purposes).

Very sorry I couldn't make it, I think Eo, Maddux, and myself have come up with a 95% fool proof plan for collecting keys/turning in keys.

It's a bunch of waiting, but it's very effective. It's pretty simple, basically, grab the thorny briar on the way through the desert, every one huddle up at Gnaw and let EV's/pets do their business until you get the fang. The hard part is next.

Everyone just sits up top (near end of desert, beginning of marsh) while 1 person (preferably a mage adept at invis-luring) goes down to bring up those monsters which need to be killed for keys. Keys are given to same person luring who runs down and turns in keys then runs back up to rest of group to get sent to isle.

Thanks, Kit! That's very well-put. I meant to imply this in the proposal, just didn't get it stated so well. No one should ever feel obligated to hunt, or to lumberjack, or to fish, or anything else. We all contribute in our own way. And another caveat of the same order. Just because Merth is our burgermeister, doesn't obligate him to supply us with raw materials. He should be able to post up--"Hey guys, we're short of barbed leather!" and expect the rest of us to chip in. Fun expeditions to gather resources in groups could even be arranged. It's all about our having fun together.

well, i had a blast anyway. i had to go in to work at 4:00 AM which is why i logged off early (also why i gave Kit the eye that i had at the time cause i knew i wouldn't be on for the whole time). i thought we did fine with irk, i never mind dieing a few times. it is only a game, and a very fun one at that.
