Wednesday Night Hunt #4 - Lady Mel - 1-31-07

The mighty UO:F guild decided to once again take on our nemesis, Lady Mel, as the fourth installment of our Wednesday Night Hunt. She is a wicked, wretched woman, but the fine members of UO:F have been mastering our tactics and refining our bonds of war throughout the month of January. There was to be no mass slaughter of humans nor elves on this night. This was OUR night.

We met at the guild house and took stock of our skills. A mage here, a warrior there, and even our little dog Toto (errr, Noreaster).

Then, we made our way to the Blighted Grove and discussed final adjustments to our strategy: Corral the satyrs with energy fields, and meteor swarm the heck out of them! Then, invite Lady Mel to have a taste of poison to go with the mud that the earth elementals would surely sling at her.

With that, we were ready to head into battle.

In no time at all, Mel was whimpering for mercy. There would be no mercy from UO:F.

We celebrated our very first takedown of Lady Mel - without having to mass resurrect outside. That's right, folks: UO:F took down Mel in style. Huzzah!

With Cabe away from the keyboard looking for socks and I without a bone machete, the group went inside to get more keys. We were having our way with Lady Mel and it was just too early to stop now! In my lonely state, I sang a tune...

When the group returned, it was evident that things hadn't gone quite as planned. Either that, or Snuggs was really hungry!

Kudos to Elladen Telemnar (my brother), who endured his very first Lady Mel. I will check with him tomorrow to make sure his brain hasn't exploded.
