I had a blast sorry I had to leave before killing the last DF. For our first time we did good, especially since that was some peeps frist time stepping foot in doom!

Next time we need to get a stragety. I was thinking about this before I went to bed, when the DF spawns a rev we need a spot for them to run and a mage to follow to dispel the rev without dispelling the evs tanking the DF. More of us need to pay attention to the unholy bones that are tossed on the floor. I think it will be too hard for one person to cut up all the bones especially, when you have lots of archers running around. I think cutting up the bones needs to be a team effort and will come with more experience. There is my 2 cents feel free to contribute and disagree.

edit: I almost forgot that we need to utilize TS more when we have these big events. It is just easier to use TS than trying to type and run from the DF, hehe

Can someone explain the bones thing? I have no idea what you're talking about! So obviously I did not contribute in that area!

Good point re: the rev's. It seemed that if a warrior was keeping the DF busy along with a bunch of EV's, it gave newer chars (like me!) and archers the chance to fire away from a distance. My newb isn't strong enough to take direct hits from DF (unless I run away immediately), so having a plan whereby people know if they are front line or back line capable would be good.

Also, the lich lords seemed to give some people trouble. Maybe having a portion of the back line crowd designated to take on secondary baddies when they spawn would help. That would probably be the stronger back-liners (those capable of taking on a lich lord!)

We seem to having healing down-pat. Someone was always ready to throw a heal my way when I got down on health, and of course thanks a million to everyone who rez'd me!!!

I had a lot of fun guys, and though there were a lot of chaotic moments last night, I think we did much better then our last hunt. Vepl, you and Ben come up with some strategies for us for the next time. In fact, now that you know what our combat prowess is, be thinking of different strategies for us in regards to other things like Peerless, dungeons, that sort of thing. At some point, I think we should do Khuldon, that could be really fun and also its in Fel, which could make things interesting. Anyhow, again I had a blast and I do agree that we need to capatalize on TS for these functions, now that we all know how to get on.

I had a few questions also...
I thought that we could not directly hit the DF because he then goes Ape Sh*#@ on you?
I had a hard time with the holy bones because it looked like they were being thrown at people and I couldn't see them on the floor (people on top of them). During the TMap event I accidently targted a EV and proceeded to get my butt wooped. I also think I accidently targted Cabe too. Sorry! So I was afraid I would target one of the guildies instead of bones.

Two, I have Tailisman of Lich Killer 72%. I thought it would be helpful, but those Lich Lords Killed me the majority of the time. Is there something special I am supposed to do to use it?

DF will target anyone doing damage (usually takes after the one doing the most) or anyone close. The bones you see being "thrown" are exactly that. Anyone doing any damage to the DF has bones thrown at them for around 8ish damage. The bones that are important are the "unholy bones" they are dropped around the DF.

Friendly fire is tough. *sighs* I am sorry about that Eowyna. I was healing you and dbl clicked your life bar

. When it happens just move away and tab out. Usually takes care of that.

The tailiaman works without doing anything. It just increases your damage to that type of MoB. So on Lich's (not Lich Lords) yours would be very helpful.

I am going to start a thread with some ideas for hunting after lunch.
