Yeah it looked like the doorway from outside was blocked too - I didn't stick around when I saw skeletal dragons and stuff... ran the other way! Is inside town not invaded?

Would you believe I ran all over the WORLD it seemed, and couldn't find a single player vendor on LA selling city runebooks? Where do you LA people shop at??? Of course, I couldn't check out Luna area due to a weird monster invasion.

I'm thinking of transferring one of my lesser used mage characters to LA. Does anyone know how much character transfer tokens go for on Atlantic? I guess I could just spend the $30 or whatever but would rather use gold

Lake Austin has been dead for some time. Most tend to farm resources and scrolls off this shard for x-sharding. I like the fact that life has started on this shard again.

Character XFer tokens on Atlantic run for about 8 mil, from what I've seen.

8 mil, that's doable. Maybe I'll run around Luna/Atlantic and see if I can find a transfer token for one of my mages. (I'm going nuts not being able to mark runes on LA!) Of course, they're only $20 from the UO store. I wonder what the gold-to-cash exchange rate is... which is a better value? hehe
