With the advent of the shiny, shiny new dragons, many tamers have stabled their cus - in somecases, forever.

Let your puppies out to play! I find a fully trained Cu to be much more effective than my incredibly powerful greater dragon. The bleed attack really cuts down on the number of heals and invis-es that the controllers can cast. Or, more accurately, the bleed attack negates much of the advantage they gain from those spells.

Similarly, the new 'teleport away from battle' trick they pull does not break aggro if they are bleeding from a Cu bite.

Plus, I can mount an ethy and run away faster if necessary!

I noticed this with the bleed attacks as well.

Instead of a ethy though, I usually just arrive on swampback..

I can slowly work the spawn alone with just a CU.

I've hard more success with the gdragon still. But, I have a very good gdragon and a not so good Cu (I'm human and just got a freebie)

The best combo I've had against them so far was my WW/Mare. BUT, I had to vet like a madman.

My GD solos Vanguards now for the most part. Or could if I wanted to sit there and watch.

A note... Greater Dragons also do a bleed attack.

You know, I never saw my dragon do a bleed attack until recently. It was against a vanguard - when it teleported away, there was blood on the ground and I still saw the little floating damage numbers on the side of my screen. Then, the big bad vanguard came charging back onscreen to attack the dragon that was still causing damage!

Needless to say, the Dragon ate well. Discorded Vanguard taste like chicken.
