Tamers! Avante!!! Use honor and tame!!

Tamers,
For those of you who have been putting off ganiing honor, here is a new reason to use it> You can honor yourself and tame from perfect safety. Level 3 honor gives 5 minutes of safe taming!!!!

yes, yu CAN get to level 3 honor as a tamer, but you have to hunt higher end MOB's (dragons to level 2, Balrons, swoops, other ML bosse and AW's to lvl 3)

This is news to me that a tamer can use honor. I thought you had to be a within a certian distance and be using a melee fighter?

Thom could please explain how I can use this virtue with my tamer?

Swoops is your best bet because of the time involved, and them being non-agro.

Set an in game macro
"invoke virtue" then in the second woindow, select "honor" (I use ctrl+x).
Now, use your macro, and target. Remember, the target MUST NOT BE IN FLIGHT (off the ground). Target swoop. Then "all kill".

Stand close to the target (8 tiles is about the limit). XCloser you are, the more honor you get. I found that I stopped gaining from dragons right when I reached the start of level 2. I still gain from balron, AW, etc. I do not gain from white wyrms in felluca.

Honor is also how I get to the red room in travesty as a tamer.

Honor has a ton of uses. Think out of the box!

i am knight of honor i honor all the time never used it to honor myself ..but if i do honor myself does honor go down

Yes it does. Everytime you embrace honor, you lose 1 dot. So make sure to gain it back.

IF YOU WANT TO ACHEIVE HONOR REALLY FAST GO TO LABRINTH HONOR THE SCORPIAN KING (I NEVER SPELL HIS NAME RIGHT) ON THE 3RD TIER OF HONOR GOES UP 3 DOTS EVERY HALF HOUR IF YOU SOLO
