So, watching this video of this guy taming a greater dragon makes it look so easy.... it looks like he's just using invis, but other tamers have suggested training up the Honor virtue and then honoring yourself so that the dragon does not attack you.

How much honor is required to pull this off? I've gotten through the first set of 10 bullets in Honor (I think I'm now a "seeker" of honor).

Seeker is a very short time! I'd work for the full Knight of Honor, which is 5 minutes duration. What is most important is your taming and lore are as high as possible. Even at 120/120 it can take me multiple tries. Heard of lower level tamers taking a half hour to tame a greater dragon.

If you have 120 taming, follower should be enough to tame a greater dragon. It isn't quite enough at 110 taming most of the time (but I can tame anything less than a greater dragon at 110 taming/lore).

You should be fine at Follower. The thing with going to Knight is you only get one use before you are back to follower. At Follower I believe you get 30 or 40 seconds, which should be plenty to try several tames. I've tamed a bunch of gdrags with only follower, and never had to invis or run because my honor ran out, but I do have 120 tame/lore.

Using honor at the follower level usually consumes one bubble of honor. As mentioned by others follower of honor is plenty of time for a tamer at all 120s ... JEWEL UP !

To work up past seeker I suggest killing some swoops. That should get you to follower pretty quickly.

Fastest way I've found to gain honor is to take a pup to the third level of the Fandancer Dojo and kill the succubus. Pups work great on them as they are weak to cold and energy. You'll need to lead the one ronin out of the room...I just drag him down the hall around a couple corners and invis to lose him. Then the only thing spawning in the room will be the succubus. Fast, fast gains. It's also an excellent way to gain sacrifice if you wish...sacrifice your fame and then work it back up (along with honor) kill the succubus' that will spawn.
