You can always soulstone med and eval for peace and music. Use EVs a lot if needed. Then after you tame the critter you want, switch back.

I second Adri's advice. Stone off med and eval and put on peace/music. That's what I do with my tamer when I want to refit her as a peace tamer instead of mage tamer.

you can also just cast paraylize and tame that also works well

Hey kingtony, from personal experience, I suggest you go para a lesser hiryu or a hiryu and try and tame it. It's a thrill you won't forget lmao.

Para taming incurs a stat penalty on the pet of 10%. Peace taming is the way to go.
For the 120 template:
120 Peace
120 Must
120 Taming
120 Lore
120 Vet
120 Mage

For Baldguy's power templates, you gotta know what your main pet will be (as long as you are not doing fire steeds, this should work). You will need access to several items as well.
110 Music (use the ML craftable sleeves w/ +10 music for 120)
120 Peace
115 Taming (Use library talisman to 120)
115 lore (use library talisman to 120
100 Vet (the HP healed difference is 8 between 100 and 120 skill)
100 Magery (if you are relying on Lvl 8 spells, you have the wrong template for your play style. The most cast spells w/ peace tamer are mindblast, gate, recall, greater heal, archcure)
40 med (60 if you are vet account)

You can also choose to offset skills with ring/brace, which can let you raise med much higher, or opt out for a 15 vet jewel (Vet jewels are usually much cheaper than lore or taming).
