i just GMed locks and cart, and need some para chests , whick monsters drop the best and the most chests? does luck count also for chest drops i know miasama drop but its quite dangerous with mage as a lot of annoying spawns also there.

I had a decent drop rate from Demons and Balrons, but you can't beat the drop rate of Miasma.

Not hard to do with a mage at all, once you get the hang of it.

Miasma ftw. Nothing I've found drops chests like those buggers. If you're on GL, I'm sure I have an arachnid slayer spellbook you can have for your mage...just gotta rummage through the houses and find it. *grumbles* Really need to clean.......................

Dark Wisps seem to drop them a lot too. Many people were leaving them about the rift. They're a pain to pick though, even with GM picking. Sometimes my picker would break 30 picks, and other times I'd get it on the second try with the first pick.

Go to Moonglow, where the event is. People are leaving the chests in Atlantic, they might be doing the same in europa.

Normally junk, but they have T-Maps too.

usually junk like Dip said but sometimes you can find decent weapons and jewelry. In a friends chest I opened, she got a really nice +14 necro 10hci 13 dci ring. The things people throw out! ;)

The dark wisp chest will have 800-900 gold, some gems, junkety junk, and a lvl 5 (devious) map.

The miasma chests will 1100ish gold, a few more gems, junkety junk junk, and a lvl 6 (ingenious) map.

These chests are a good source of spell channeling mage weapons for working your mage. And lightning/fireball wands are good for those crafters that can't cast or fight.

Occasionally you get a good piece out of the junkety junk, but mostly not.

I have to agree with dip though, I've never seen anything beat the miasma for chest drops. Lemme tell ya though, if you want a skele dragon para chest, it's gonna take a while lol
