Tamer/Ninja

Hey guys I'm still sort of new to Ultima even though my account is 6 months old. I didn't play for the first month, and play just a few hours a week.

However I was curious as to making a Ninja/Tamer. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

I think it'd be an extremely cramped template. Skills you'd need would obviously be:

Taming
Lore
Vet
Ninjitsu

and depending on what you would be doing would take up the other skill points.

Alright I found this on the Tamer skill page. This character is mainly going to be roleplay, but also need it to do well in PvM. If you think it will work then great, if not then I'll just settle with one or the other

I adjusted the following a little:

Warrior tamer
Animal taming 85 (120 w/ jewelry & tali)
Veterinary 90
Lore (20 from JOT)
Healing 90
Fencing 100
Ninjitsu 100
Tactics 75
Hiding 100

Then I would like to squeeze Stealth in there at 100.

Any ideas? Thanks.

You could drop Healing for Chiv (65) and drop Tactics to get 100 Stealth.

Well I'm playing an evil character, and I heard chivalry was directly based on your karma.

Will fencing still be okay without tactics?

Depends on how much/what for you are using your Fencing, your damage output will be extremely low per hit, but with Ninjitsu you'd use Death Strike for their main damager (other than pets).

If you don't want to use Chiv (suggested 'cause without Anatomy you won't heal much with Healing and can't Rez) because you'll have low/bad Karma (will effect Chiv spells) then you could go with Bushido, but that would need to be higher (around 90).

I'm assuming with the news changes to Taming that this template is now next to impossible?

Yup. I worked out several template options. All get stuck with no means to heal.

What kind of rp is this for? That changes the temp alot.... Hard core? IE: Gm made weps, armor, strict ROE ect.. Or a more laid back style?
