Vampirai still a viable template?

I happened to be in Twisted Weald and witnessed what appeared to be a Vampirai take down a Paragon Cu without noticeable effort. I read the other thread in this forum, but I'm still not entirely sure what the ideal template is for this juggernaut PvM template.

I'm also interested in an archery version, if known.

:| Vampire isn't realy made to be a Archer.. its made to be a tank.. if you're going to pick up archery, pick up a wraith archer

hmm... could you share with me the knowledge, what template's behind said "vampire"? I think I heard it before somewhere, but I really can't figure out what it might be.

this vampire embrace temp you are talking about is more bushido than necro
120 swords
120 parry
120 bush
120 tactics
35 necro (you'll use a +30 necro jewel set, the +10 necro book, +5 necro tally, and a pair of the necro bracers +20 necro. Gives you a total of 100 necro to let you cast vamp forum).
the other 205 skill points are up to you but I would suggest something like focus or med so you can chain specials easier, or a combo of anat and healing.

i like using that template with macing and use best wep skill ornate axes

I'd rather swing away from use best weapons.. considering you can't evade if you get low on health.

what do u mean? UBWS with evade doesnt work?

I have been playing a Vamp for awhile and unless they change it lately evade definately doesnt work with UBWS weaps..I am sure it requires you to have somewhere between 60 or 80 in the primary waepon skill (i e Swords,Fencing Etc) sorry i cant remember exact number off top of my head.You get message "you must have ## in swords to use this skill."
