Hmm, allright, that actually does sound true. I guess if you have the mana to afford it, it chops away a huge chunk of DPS from the Dex monkeys.

I still have this confusion with evasion spell.
If I'm an archer, and can only be hit by spells or by another archer, can I evade these only with Bushido skill or do I need Parry skill also?
How do Bushido and Parry combine in an Archer? in a Dexxer?

I'm fairly sure evasion is poo for an archer, since the way it works (or at least used to work prior to the changes with the new delay and tact/anat relationships) is it increases your parry chance by a % and allows you to parry spells.

Since parry for archers is rubbish to begin with, adding the evasion % to that won't count for much.

The way I understand it, yes. Though I'm not entirely familiar with the current formula for evasion, so don't take just my word for it...

Evasion only works with Melee weapons.

Edit: Your fists count as weapons if you have Wrestling.

What about evation from spells? Can't an archer use evation against spells?

To clarify:

YOU must have a weapon (or wrestling with no weapon or book) for Evasion to work FOR you.

Evasion WILL work on all types of damage coming AT you, this includes arrows, melee weapons, spells, etc.
