Ok here is my dilema. I want to try out the vampurai template and not really sure what skills to drop and how many points to drop to achieve space for necro.
Here is my currant template:
Anat 105
Bush 103
Chiv 74
Fen 115
Heal 101
Parry 105
tact 110

I dont want to drop fencing, parry, or bushido. Is it worth dropping points out of anat , tact, and healing ?
Any suggestions and help is appreciated.

Interesting experiment..Would stone tactics (then no weapon samurai specials), and would not lose points or drop points since it takes forever to regain them. Try and see what damage you dish out. If it was me and wanted to try archery I would 1) Stone Fencing, Parry, and
2) Add Archery and Magic Resist, and possibly 35-38 points of Necro ( So I can Vampire form and poison resist and leach life )
Unfortunately, not enough skill points to do all.

For the sampurai template, the FIRST thing is get as many NECRO + items as you can. This will determine you remaining point distribution
These items consist of
+20 necro - Midnight bracers (real or cursed)
+10 necro - Ossian Grimoire (OR you can use a runic fishing pole for higher than 10)
+5 necro - bloodwood spirit
+15 necro brace
+ 15 necro ring
+10 necro - Mark of Travesty (this is 45 mill or so)

The template I use (given to me by Lemon Squeeze):
120 -
wep skill
bushido
parry

110-
Tactics

85-
healing
anat

70 chiv

22 (lower tactics to soak up points here. More than likely you will have 35 points in necro, and 90 ish tactics)

Thanks for the welcomes. And thanks again to Baldguy, talking with him just a couple of times in game and being totally overwhelmed with information I have learned more in the couple of hours we have talked than I have in years of playing.
With my new template I can stand and solo mobs I couldnt even touch with my fencer, it is truely wicked, and I dont even have the skills set where they should be nor do I have the suit or weapon needed to make this template truely mind blowing.
I cant say thank you enough. Greatfull to have met you Baldguy , Lemmon , and Kitiara and glad I found these boards. My UO experiance has been enhanced and is a blast now.

Paul, just remember what I said in game. It becomes addicting, to get the better piece of armor, or the better weapon. Anything can make this template just that much better. and Sadly, it will be nerfed in the future
