New, Need help on PvM Template

I just started this game and I was wondering. What template should I use thats good for a begginer. And what should my Str/Int/Dex be.

Also I want to use Swords.

Anatomy
Healing
Bushido (assuming you want to be a samurai 'cause the forum you started this in)
Resist Spells

Str 90 (get +Str or +HP items to get HP above 100)
Dex 125 (base, try to get to 140 Dex with items)

and get 100-120 on each of them? Also should my INT stay at 10?

PvM you rarely need anything above 110. I'd go with 110 Swords and 90 Healing and GM everything else (unless you get +skills from other items).

Int goes to whatever you can get it to with what's left after you meet the other requirements.

For PvM I don't consider the costs of 20 scrolls worth the result.
115 scrolls are nice, but DiP is right, you only really need 110s.

A +25 scroll would be well advised though!

You could swap out resist from the template above for focus.
Or if you have stamina regen items and mage armour, perhaps meditation.

My best PvM template so far is:

Fencing 120
Anatomy 100
Parrying 100
Bushido 100
SS 90
Healing 85
Chivalry 75
Necro 35

I have necro boosted with jewels just to go into wraith form. Which gives some serious mana leech boosts every time I hit. That coupled with curse weapon giving life leech. I can solo miasma no problem.

Can get a little dicey with magic casters

nah no tac i use kyrss' so don't need for poisoning

Concur with StoneCypher. Fencing and poison is a house in PvM. I will differ from the rest and throw out Music/Discord too.

Fencing 120
Anatomy 100
Parrying 100
Bushido 100
Music 120
Discord 115
Chivalry 70

You burn a lot of mana healing with Chiv, though. This is an amazing temp for farming swoop and other monsters, particularly non-spellcasting ones. It also works on many mid-range paragons (Demons in particular).

You could trade Bushido for Healing 90 and dump 20 points into Med/Focus.

Thoughts, anyone?
