so when working Spirit speak whats the fastest way to GM it if my necro is already at 100? im stuck at 93 and just doing SS isnt working and im trying the curse weapon over and over but the gains seem horrible. so is there anything i can do to speed this up?

i would but i cant cast a spell that might give me skill cause my cap is 110 but i dont wanna raise it past 100. so it has to be a low level necro spell and i heard it didnt matter which one. i tried horrific beast but the same slow skill gain.

Can't you lock your necro at 100? Just because your cap is 110, doesn't mean you have to keep the arrow pointed up. I have several skills on each of my characters that are capped way higher than I have them raised, and just keep the skill locked... Or am I missing something? (This is a distinct possibility...)

well i dont think u gain SS while casting necro spells if your necro is locked.

are you coming close to your total skill cap? either 700 or 720 for 4 year vet?

yes you can still gain in spirit speak if you lock necromancy, you are working ss not necro so only that skill needs to be pointed up.

if you are close to total skill cap do you have access to soulstones or soulstone fragments?

if you do then soulstone/frag off enough skill to bring your total skill to under 350. obviously you have to keep necro on him.

then do you have UOAssist if you do write a macro thusly:

start record
use skill
insert pause
pause 14000
stop record

tie it to whatever button you wish, mash the button down somehow and walk around luna shopping at vendors. as long as you are moving about this is legal, if you leave your character unattend well good luck too you with your ban.

if you do not have UOAssist, then make a macro in 2D or kr for use skill - spirit speak, tie it to your space bar again walk around luna shopping, hitting your spacebar every 14 seconds, hit it early you will not be able to use the skill. you will hit gm in no time.

then just put your skills back on your character from the soulstones/frags.

yes im very close to my skill cap, but i dont have enough soulstones to drop my skill points that low. i have 2 of the little soulstones.
i can still try that macro. thanks for the help

Just cast Vampiric Embrace over and over i went from 90 - 100 in about 2 days. This worked for me.
