dispel evil

I got a peace/mage I use for champs spawns. I was thinking, could chiv's dispel evil work in place of area peace? That would free up points for something else.

Re: dispel evil

Not exactly sure how dispel evil works. Thought it only works for summoned creatures (revs and demons). And it's affected by your chiv skill and karma.

i thought it didn't "dispel" summons, it just caused regular creatures to flee.

dispel evil works AWESOME at spawns. if you are getting crowded and need a little breathing room, it flees the baddies away, allowing for a less crowded wither or holy light area damage type spell.

before the chiv/mage nerf, I had a spellweaving chiv/mage for spawning, and the dispel evil and HL and... god i dont remember, some spwv spell that did similar area damage worked awesome!

use dispel on an archer is nice vs stronger monsters. make them flee so they wont hit u with magery or range attack, hit and cast again. (takes many mana and patience but could be nice). archers however shouldn't be bothered by magery spells. my archer can single a DF, lady mallisande, chief primox and other really strong monsters with out no problem! (tried to single dreadhorn but it has chief and magery props making me die sometimes, wich i hate )

jeje I am a runner and a safe player. at my first UO experience my most used skill was peacemaking...
peacemaking makes a nobdexx safe... however to be a good dexx u can better not use peacemaking and just heal good (tru peacemaking i forgot to heal much times). also when i dotn feel safe I just run... not that i think dieing is that bad, no healers are always near and if not i just use sacrifice or help I am stuck. and still dont like it , not bothered by stuffloose too so why i keep running??? why my replext is to run if i see a player I don't now in wild? well probably my friend that played UO with me teached me to do so . he always was naked. was a tamer/mage and had a flee macro whenever he saw a player. I did that also.

but now I canbeat almost anything on my shard (150 dexx 160 stamina 100 str 50 intell all 70 100DI hit a sec 50 dmg avarage and 200 on monsters...) I still keep running. lol... if i would stay i would kill monsters more easilly becouse i always se0em to heal at the right moment. unless i run...

so dispel eavil is a good way to keep safe ... (pets also are nice to stay safe, they take dmg while u hit). but hard to make an doom/pk/pvm-archer/tamer... (if templates of 1200 skills would be nice) (spreading over 2 chars, sounds weared but works for me). (1 or 2 more skills isnt a real problem but not more than 1400).
