Re: Training Parry

Well maybe i'm not doing it right then, before this post I went to Jehlom farm and had pigs and sheep etc attack me. I targeted them and then tabbed out of war mode and I only had my shield on. I got like .1 gain. My parry is at 55 I believe and yes Ally I need to train my healing also.

Re: Training Parry

If pigs and sheep didn't work, try cows and bulls. Or hinds. They should help you gain parry too.

Re: Training Parry

If you have any DCI jewels on, take em off. Were you taking damage?

Another trick if you are a pally would be to cast Divine Fury. It a -20% penalty to DCI making you easier to hit...

Re: Training Parry

Parrying demons would raise spell resist, parry, and healing. This type of training is not for the faint of heart.

go naked
Hey, he said it, not me.

While this way you wont need to replace armor, you may hit points where you have to run away a bit depending on how high your healing/anat is...I think I just had a DC Chain suit that I had to repair twice going from 70-GM.

Re: Training Parry

lol... I was just about to say go naked, with just your shield on. Just goes so much faster. But yeah, depends too if you can heal.
