Killer Miasmas

Just came back from visiting the Miasmas ,holy cow! i died so fast i was in shock .i had a scorpion slayer thinking that would help ,pffft no way.Iis HCI or DCI better for that situation?

DCI, Parry, extremely high Weapon Skill, Chiv (enough for Remove Curse) w/faster casting, high Dex (w/healing and bandies) and space to run if needed.

I don't think I've stood toe to toe with Miasma on a Meleer once, always had to resort to fleeing to heal/remove mortal. Although there are times (using Evade) where I could do it for most of the duration of the fight.

Scorpion Slayers are the only weapons I'll use.

There is no way a large scorpion should be more powerful than a dragon...or any other of the stupid animals in the game. Poor Dragon, supposed to be king in the fantasy world and now they are nothing. Plus, I hate scorpions.

Ancient Wryms deffinently are harder, *shrugs* but then again their loot sucks.

i find using orangel petals--scorpion slayer with life leeech -casting enemy of one dead in no time. but remember there hit points vary from like 500 to 5000 but loot is the same on both..just keep your eye open for rend .

What kind of loot do you get off a Miasma? I found hunting them to be quite painful...OoOoOoOoO!

As said before, for a paladin with a fast scorpion slayer with life leech (I use a skinning knife), miasma is a piece of cake. Just watch out for other spawn, it can easily kill you, when using enemy of one.

One thing i noticed with warrior is they r the only one in the game that cant fight with a luck suit and fight hard monsters
