A Challenge!

Fighting along side one of my guildies made me feel a bid disheartened to say the least. She was using a G.Drag against my lowley Warrior.

Now I love warriors, not from a UO point of view, but from the point of view of the honourable sword on sword aspect. So I'm a bit miffed to say the least that I can barely get a hit on something before it dies, or things I can hit, will roast me alive in an instant.

So herein lies the challenge.

Build me a warrior, that can goes toe to toe with a G.Drag, that does NOT require specific weapons/armors, does NOT specialise in killing certain things ( I know some warriors can solo Dark Fathers, not the point )

A general warrior, that can keep up with the pace of a G.Drag and my guild tamers ( and tamers throughout Europa ) will stop hearing me moan and complain.

Good luck

Re: A Challenge!

This is very, very difficult to do...I can stay alive against them but I'm forced to run away, heal up, and come back after them...cheezy I know, but it's all about survival. I use a dragon slayer and honestly, I do run several times before I can kill one. One miscue on my part and I am dead, so I can't really give you a "killer" template for one...in fact, I'm not sure one exists.

If, on the other hand, you are doing a little PvP and having GDrags attack you, that's a little simpler....keep luring them away...they are slow so as long as you're mounted you should be okay. Get them a few screens away from their tamer, then invis (pots or magery) and then go back and kill the tamer. Much more fun that way. Once tamer is dead, and aggro is broken after invis....have fun whacking away on the drag hehe. Do beware the stealthing bola throwers or stealth archer with heavy xbows though.

Re: A Challenge!

Nope, I mean PvM at the mo. I hate to say it, I am very doubtful anyone could come up with a skill/stat set that is possible

I don't mind running back and forth, but when certain monsters take over 1/2 my hp theres limited running i can do

Re: A Challenge!

Are you just looking for a 'warrior' warrior, or what about archer templates?
