Archer/Warrior template

I'm currently have a warrior, he used to be a pure archer with healing but I wanted to add a bit of change to his template (but keeping archery) but I'm not too sure what skills to give him out of the ones he has already.

At the moment he has:

Archery 100
Lumberjacking 100
Anatomy 100
Tactics 100
Swordsmanship 77.7
Resisting Spells 69.1
Bushido 55.3
Chivalry 50.6
Parrying 42.9

I'm enjoying the fact that he can switch between Archery and Axe and give out decent damage depending on the situation, so I want to keep the Swords, Archery and Lumberjacking, I'm just undecided on the rest. Is it worth trying:

Archery 100
Lumberjacking 100
Anatomy 100
Tactics 100
Swordsmanship 100
Bushido 100
Chivalry 20 - boosted as much as possible with Jewelery.
Parrying 100

I'm not sure what the max bonus with Jewelry would give to Chivalry. Am I gimping my character by not having any skills to 120?

Re: Archer/Warrior template

The answer to your last question is yes. But any tweak will result in losing SOMETHING.

I think others will back me up on this. Stick with one weapon skill. Alot of us (inlucding myself) try the mult-weapon route, but unltimately, you hit more with 120 than 100 in a skill, and do a TON more damage once you can cast Enemy of One.

We will have to discuss this in length.

For other readers, we could use an in-depth guide on PvM templates. All comers welcome. Everything from teh simple to the complex. I will work with any takers to assist with formatting and research. My plate is a little full, so any chance of my writing it would be in about 2 months.

Re: Archer/Warrior template

I agree with Baldguy there about most people sticking with one weapon skill and bumping skills to 120.

BUT...

I do like the versatility in Archer/Melee combos and am going to make one myself. It'll be similar to yours, but not quite. This is what I'd do with your template.

Archery 110 (or 115)
Lumberjacking 100
Tactics 120 (dependant on how high you take the other skills)
Swordsmanship 110 (or 115)
Bushido 110 (or 115/120)
Chivalry 60 - boosted a little bit more with Jewelery (to get around 75, the skills from jewelry can go to any skill used, as long as the points get into Chiv)
Parrying 110

90 Str
125 Dex
50 Int

Thing is, you aren't using Healing, so there is no reason to use Anatomy. Sure, the damage bonus will help some, but with the little points needed for Chiv (40-50 more opposed to the 100 in Anatomy) to cast Enemy of One (as Baldguy stated) you'll get more of a damage boost.

If you only take the skills to the minimum listed (110's) then you can bump Tactics to squeeze out a little more damage, or put it in Chiv for a higher success rate at Enemy of One (not that important to be able to cast it every time, just as long as you can get 1/4 successful is pretty good).

Re: Archer/Warrior template

Thanks both of you. I think I will remove Anatomy and give it a shot from there. Getting Chivalry as high as I can and using Enemy of One, sounds better than spending 100 points in Anatomy, thanks again.
