RPvp mage
What would be good to add to the basic mage skills for pvp and role play? I am thinking of going with wrestle and perhaps stealth/hide. Or is the nox mage still worth making these days?
Your advice would be great thanks!

Nox mages are great. With 200 points between that and your weapon skill you have a 4/5 chance of casting lethal poison.
I don't RP so I can't help you with that...sorry.

Just go with a normal mage, nothing to hard or anything.
Magery Eval Med Focus Wrestling Now it depends on what kind of mage you want... you could get posioning and use the remining skill point in getting things like more magery and what not. Half of a rp mage is about the guild its in. An undead mage's temp might have necro where as a preist might go with spellweaving. I figure a nox mage because I will go 120 mage, med, eval, gm posion, That gives me 260 to play with. I will want resist im sure, do I want to go 120 with it? If so that leaves me 140. So prolly wrestle?
My math is all to well so I might have screwed up the addition heh

Or you could try a scribe mage:
120 Mage 120 Eval 120 Resist 100 Scribe 120 Med 120 Nujitsu - For this you'll need either staff of the magi or swords of prosperity. If you can find any other -0 mage weapons that suit better then run with these. To get capped damage you'll need to run with high Intel, ideally 150. And cap out your LMC. Get 15 SDI from items. There are many plain mages, but scribe is a magery skill, suits RP quite well i think. |

You don't need resist in Rpvp, it can be helpful now and then but its not a must.
Edit- Which kind of rp we talking about? Where you can use arties and stuff and you rp, or rp like GRD, A^K, ect. |

Resists make it more of a viable template for going out into Felucca, but for Rp, no its not essencial. I just don't think anyone would spend 40 mill on scrolls to only RP, when dropping the odd skill would do just as well.

Well, i'll prolly never own the staff or swords unless someone gives them to me or I luck out in doom or something lol. The temp is for my chessy char with will belong to the fel rp city. Being a fel char I want him to be able to take care of himself in fel and I will also do some spawning etc.

Ahh..! Then i have no clue really, the temp that i put up was more for a Rpvp mage for RP. What your going to do is have a PVP guy and rp with it. I understand now, sorry.
