Oldie requesting template analysis

Hi,

Just returned to uo after a hiatus. Is my mage still playable? are all his skills still necessary?

anat 100
eval 105
healing 100
magery 110
med 100
poisoning 100
resist 100

I get that you want anat/healing for a second source of life-saving, but I question that unless you're PvP.

Take magery, eval and resist to 120, drop anatomy and healing to compensate or kill them altogether and toss on spellweaving to at least 105.

I was PVP before, not sure if i will be now since it looks liek you need lots of cool items for that.. I'll look into spellweaving. does it give a bonus or something?

What shard you on sqrlking? The spellweaving quests can be a little tough

if you're on Baja I'll be happy to watch your back for you.

I'm on Pac. bummer, I could use some help in this new UO.

Spellweaving looks like it's got a couple nice spells. Gift of life looks pretty amazing.

I think I have a gift collector on pac shard. And if not I can just create one. Wouldn't be able to help you with any quests that require killing monsters, xcept maybe mongbats. Heh But we can chat about stuff and get you up to speed.

I just checked my Baja account, and it looks like I was starting a bard. Starting a new character sounds great to me. Are bards still fun?

i had a bard/tamer a long time ago, but it seemed like overkill at the time, so I dropped his bard skills. I always regretted that decision.

I'll start working on her when I can. She's got 95 music, but all her other skills are very, very low, we're talking <30! so it'll be a little while before I can go dungeon crawling. I'd definitely love to hang out though!

SC, i've added you to my buddies. I'm training my bard now.

I had a provo bard tamer, it was pretty ridiculous how easy everything was. I felt guilty any time I took him to a dungeon. I don't think I ever used Discord, I'm not sure what it does.
