A good roleplay PVP template?

I'm looking for a template that lets me PVP well for roleplay events, but I don't want any retarded skills like poison and such because that wouldn't be what my character wants. Also, I might want to get crafting skills if thats possible in a pvp mage template.

Re: A good roleplay PVP template?

If inscription or alchemy count as your crafting skills then you can have:
120 magery/meditate/EI/resist/wrestling
100 inscription or alchemy (both benificial as a mage and fits into the common mage-RP style)
Otherwise you could drop wrestling and pick up a staff of the magi or staff of pyros for defense. It wouldn't be as effective, but would still do well in a lot of situations (group fighting for example). That gives you an extra 120 points for smith or tailor and you could use the 100 points that I mentioned earlier as inscribe or alchemy and put that in arms lore.

How are your character's feelings about necromancy?

Re: A good roleplay PVP template?

Necro is the best template for a rpmage on EU.. But it really depends on your char there..

On Gnomy ive tried loads of template and i've found it like.. it really depends what mood i myself is in... I can play any kind of mage very well.. my favorite was tank mage tho.. but with all changes now its impossible in rpvp (atleast the way i want it)

scribe is always very nice.. high wrestling is a must since everyone is running around with 120 wep..
I liked parry as well.. But you need to be very delicate on your arm macros and timings to work it well.
Alchy is lovely in bigger battles.. set UOA macro on 1 time agent.. You are a machine gun.. and it HURTS! But it hurts everything not being green.. and if you ever fight a green.. then its useless.

Spellweaving.. Summon fairys is just awsome in rpvp.. people think its lame though.. since its so fastly casted and takes only 10mana. With high focus you get 3-4 fairys.. If you fight a warrior and he doesnt know how to handle them... oh boy.. he will whine and whine.. if he knows how to handle it.. then they are just a minor interuption.
Fight a mage that know what he does.. then this is just a waste..
Fight a mage that doesnt know... then he is doomed.

I liked it.. since the melee buffer and HoT. Make sure you got high mana pool tho.

Perryn probably wouldn't give a rats arse but he wouldn't use necromancy himself.
What about my stats?

Bleh.
Edit: Instead of a craft I'll just go for spellweaving. Hopefully not too many people complain about it.

Re: A good roleplay PVP template?

Eh. I decided I would go with alchemy since spellweaving is more of a group skill.
