105 magery, how to go on?

Hello!

Im currently stuck at about 105 magery (cap is 120)
How do I raise it more? Ive been casting EQs for an half hour and not one gain

Another question, if I say, use an item that boost my magery to 120, will I still have skillgains?

Use a sc -29 mage weapon.

or.. get a -mage weapon with 100% posion resist and hit a golem

tho, your GGS gains will happen at the modified skill rate, so long as that hasnt changed...

Also, not all skills follow this rule. Lumberjacking for instance; I had 95.4 LJ with Mels Hatchet and didnt get even GGS gains if I had it equipped...

I never got magery gains while my Tome of Knowledge was boosting my magery up to 110 (cap). I had to cast without the Tome equipped in order to get my magery actually up to the cap.
