What is your favorite Bard Template? - Page 4

OK. What about this:
Stone eval and have 170 sp open.
100 necro and 70 ss added to the 120 music, peace, provo
110 Magery
100 Med
Thoughts?

With necro you have wither. Now, since it is area effect, you could ALSO use firehorn. This is great when you have a few monsters all provoked around you. But for the firehorn damage to be effective, you would need Disco and Provo.

I would make as MUCH skill room as you could with jewels/items, so you can have higher med and spirit speak. It would be a fun template to learn new combo's. My perspective is that any template with bard skills is workable. They are so powerful they overcome many weaknesses.

*An Corp Thread*

Currently running the following, no (non-peerless, non-doom) monster I can't handle:
120 Taming
115 Lore
115 Discord
105 Peace (primarily for area)
105 magery
110 Vet
115 Music

I have rocking jewelry and a +7 discord fishin' pole of DOOM! =D

It seems discord is in almost all of this templates.
is it really that good? (Mine is only at 54 right now, working it really slow)

as compared to say peacemaking something where you can just wale on it while it stands there and goes dur..

Discord is so much better than peacemaking, but I still wouldn't take Peace off my bard. Discord allows you to take down high-end monsters much faster and more safely than before. It even works on some paragons at 120 dis/120 music/exceptional instrument, I believe.

Discordance is without question one of the most powerful skills in the game if not thee most powerful. "It turns Balrons into mongbats" is the best decription I've heard regarding discordance. Maybe a little over exagerrated but not by much.

Can I ask why the magery without eval?

the template is very skill stingy so there really isnt room for it is the short answer. As a tamer your pet is your damage so eval isnt necessary. magery is for the heals/cures and gate/recall mainly.
