old but handy link for disco

POO from stratics was a discord fanatic. I finally found his old skill gain thread in the stratics archive.

the handiest bit of infor here. You can gain from anything that's difficulty is within +\- 25 points of your skill. Use jewels and isntrument combinations to get yourself to discording a single low end CU, then swap out equipment. By using different CU's, like tamed / not tamed, you can get to 120 off 1 type of animal.

I should go look up what discordance is. Honestly I have no idea

Discord is where you play "jarring music" and the target has the little sparklies all around it (it is what the enslaved satyrs at Lady Mel does to you). You lose stat and skill points while under it's effects. At this time on production shards players can't discord other players
