Where is a good spot with 2 rotten corspes?

Balron not really good for provoke but maybe good for discord (bottom level of the fan dancer dojo)

Ethereal Warriors only spawn in Ish?

Re: Music Skills Gaining Guide

I'm having a really hard time training provocation properly and any guide or suggestion I see is either outdated, or too difficult.

For instance, I tried to frenzied Ostards mentioned in this guide, and couldn't find two that were anywhere near each other, let alone enough to efficiently train on. Does anyone have any other suggestions other than what's listed here? Specifically from 55 skill on.

Thanks!

Re: Music Skills Gaining Guide

You ran into the biggest problem with provo, the lack of comparable monster to provo. Remember that the difficulty of the first target is average with the diffiiculty of the second target.

If you have difficulty finding comparable critters, you can also always put on jewels to put you at the next level.

One item left out of the guide is CU's. The lowest tamed CU skill i ahve seen is 70. So you can have a tamer tame and release two CU's, put on jewels to get to 50%, and provo away to GM by taking off the jewels as you gain. You may need a way to keep them from hitting each other, like putting on in a coral, the other on the outside.

Re: Music Skills Gaining Guide

Thanks for the post. But what are CU's? Hehe

Also, do you know if it's still possible to put animals on 2 seperate boats and provoke them from the shore for gains?

Cu's are cu shide's (dog looking pet) found in twisted wield.

Yes you can do the boat trick. There is some debate if it is legal or not

All bard skills gain depending on Bard difficulty, so this list should work for discord, provoke, and peacing. Use non-exceptional instruments. I always bought 20 at a time from the NPC carpenter. This is a list of non-magical, easy to manage pets to practice on:

Buy skill up to 30 using NPC
30-50 Polar Bears
50-60 Frenzied Ostards
60-70 Scorpions
70-80 Giant Beetles (Blue mountable ones)
80-85 Lesser Hiryus (try to get ones with high bard difficulty)
85-90ish Greater Hiryus

Good luck!
This is a slightly easier list from stratics (poo to be precise) its blue creatures that wont attack (at first).

0-33 NPC purchase
33-65 polar bears
65-85 GAMAN's
85-110 (120) cu sidhe
110-120 this is optional, as cu's will take ya there easy enough, but some people think they work faster, but they dont, but ill add it anyways cause im bored and feel like typing something - hiryus. well i guess hiryus are really not good for this list, as they ARE AGRESSIVE, so stick with cu's.

Poo's writing.

And I have been following and its SLOW SLOW slow, but well the skill is slow period.

Yes. Just peace yourself (area peace) over and over. Make sure your music is below 100 for "fastest" gains.

Re: Music Skills Gaining Guide

I am training Provoke and this guide has been terrific. Right now though I am at 111.7 and barely moving on Cu Sidhes. I have 2 of them trapped on 2 boats and according to the stratics calculator I should have about a 30% chance of success. Well I am hardly ever failing and I can honestly say I am having success about 90% of the time if not a bit higher. I am at 100 music with it locked and I am only using NPC bought instruments to keep my success rate low. Is it possible I got 2 crappy Cu's and there barding difficulty is low and I need to try 2 more? Maybe the person that tamed them paralyzed them during and lowered there stats and barding difficulty? (<-- is that even possible?) I have gained great to this point only using 2 targets like 2 Gamans all the way to 80ish then 2 lesser Hiryus all the way to 110 and in both cases the gains were steady and semi-quick. Any thoughts on this?
