Todays Crafters...?

What kind of crafter builds to people go with today?
I mean... Back when I was playing there was just Exceptional as far as crafting goes then it was all about vanq/accurate/indestructable weapons....

For example.. do you have smithing and tailoring on the same charachter or that is a big No-no?

gm armslore, fletching, carpentry, tinkering and 120 smithy, tailoring. with the rest in either magery(for recalling) or bush (for SJ)

Why armslore, what does that help?
And tailoring also set to legendary 120?

i beleive arms lore now adds to some mods for crafting not sure on the amount

armslore adds +1 resist for every 20 in armslore skill. with gm +5 being the cap. nope you dont "need" 120, it just helps with enhancing chances... plus most people like to say, "hey i have a "Legendary smithy"

Well... It is afterall the mods on armor/weapons that set the prices and how effective they really are, right... so getting smithy/tailoring to 120 is quite logical.

As for items on a crafter, what would it be? And I suppose Max strength to be able to carry alot ?

Again: I suppose + to the different skills? And those.. I think I've seen.. Idk what they are, some totems with + to exceptional chance.. are those any good?

str is a must, imo, with the rest divided between dex and int. yes get as many talisman as you have crafting skills,with high exceptional bonus as well as regular skill bonus. this as well helps with your chance of enhancing. lrc suit with good str and int is what i use for my mule.

There are also new talismans that help out quite a bit. They can be gotten doing heartwood quests. They spawn with random bonus to skill and to chance for exceptional.

MULES RULE!

have a character that compliments your other characters best, as a crafter, so it supports your others ....

Personally, Im not a fighter but I am a scriber, tailor, chef, and lil ol mage

(dont like mongbats!!)

I have another character for tinker, smith, carp .. etc .. but thats because I tend to our 200+ vendors

Ok. Well I have a Warrior, and as you might have seen I'm planning to make 2 mages later as well...
Is there a thread anywhere on prices of different pots, or well, those barrels?
Because I will need pots for my warrior.... So maybe I will have to do 2 Crafters.. but if they arent that expensive I might as well just buy them from someone.
I play on Europe btw.
