How do you organize your BOD's?

How do you guys and gals organize your BOD's in BOD books?

I used to dump them into one of two books: smithy or tailoring.

Now that I have hundreds of BOD's, that system is a bit too broad

I've started making separate BOD books like:

PoF (smithy)
Horned kit (tailoring)
Barbed kit (tailoring)

etc... based on the rewards that the deeds give.

Am I getting too specific?

Would love to hear what everyone else is doing!

Re: How do you organize your BOD's?

Smithing I have a book for Platemail, Chainmail, Ringmail, PoF, Bronze Runic/Anvils.

Tailoring I have a book for Leather Armour, Bone Armour, Studded Armour, Clothing Bless Deeds and Cloth.

The last two of both types are reward based. At this time I only save high end reward bods (lvl five cloth I condsider high end).

Re: How do you organize your BOD's?

We just separate Smith and Tailor.

We used to organize them before by Large/Small, then rewards. But it got too tiring to organize.

Re: How do you organize your BOD's?

UO Stratics has a really awesome BOD database program to store all of your BODS. It even tells you the reward upon entering the BOD into the dbase.

http://www.uobod.de./

From there, I just organize my BODS by cloth, and leather types for my TBODS and metal type for SBODS.

Re: How do you organize your BOD's?

Organizing by reward is the way to go. I have to go through mine at some point...need to trash all the junk ones I have.

Re: How do you organize your BOD's?

I also organize mine by reward.

I used to organize tailor by resource type (spined, horned, barbed, regular leather, cloth, bone bods of all colors) and smith by normal iron, exceptional iron, colored LBODs all in one book, and smalls by metal type. I still do my smith bods by metal type actually. When I do bod runs and turn-ins, I always carry two books for tailoring runs, and 3 books for smith runs. For tailoring, I have my book for junk cloth, and another one called "Unsorted Tailoring" that I throw all my unsorted leathers and bones into. For smithing, I have a "normal junk iron", "exceptional junk iron", and "unsorted smith" (though I might downsize and just do a "junk iron" book regardless of quality). About once a week I sort everything into the books they need to go into.

Re: How do you organize your BOD's?

Do you sell the bods are just use them for yourself to redeem?

I do both .. so, I dont worry about rewards ...
Have 50 vendors in one location that hold the bod books ... based on our tailoring menu ...
example;
Hats ... 10 normal
.......... 15 normal
.......... 20 normal

Shirts .. 10 normal
........... 15 normal

etc ...

all exceptional cloth bods are held in storage and are used to fill personal large bods and trade/sell on a per request basis ...

on the other side of the room is the smith area ...
broken down into armor, weapons, large bods

someday if you have time i would be glad to show you how dang organized it is LOL

overflow of bods are great to give free to those players who are training

Re: How do you organize your BOD's?

With tailoring I have two books for each leather type (one for normal, one for exceptional)

Then I have one book for the cloth and normal leather ones that have a reward that I want.

Then a book with all the "junk" bods that are to be filled to turn in for more.

Re: How do you organize your BOD's?

Hmmm, haven't really messed with bods in about a year, but when I did I kinda kept it simple, and made bod books with titles such as Spined/Horned/Barbed for tailors and Dull-Shadow/Cop-Bronze/Gold-Aga/etc. etc.

Guess I should have done it by rewards though, as that does seem like the better way to go.

Re: How do you organize your BOD's?

Here's what I've ended up doing. (haven't gotten through my smithy BOD's yet - just tailoring!)

I made these books:

Barbed Kit
Male leather - plain/spined/horned
Femail leather - plain/spined/horned
Studded (all)
Bone - (everything except the 20E barbed, which go in barbed kit book)
Footwear
Cloth 20 exceptional
Cloth larges
Cloth - all others

I plan to keep and fill the ones for barbed kits, the 20E cloth larges, and the male/female leather armor 6 part larges. I'll also keep some of the other cloth smalls to fill and turn in for more BOD's. The only footwear I'm keeping is the 20 exceptionals (for the 20E cloth larges).

The rest I'll probably put on a vendor.
