![]() | A Cool Trick So I recently found this out and thought it was worth putting up here. If you put your ingots and tongs in the new Smelting bag (I can't think of the name right now and am at work), you will create items directly into that bag (tested in 2d). This is AMAZING for training blacksmithing, as all you have to do is hit make last until the bag overweights and then hit smelt all. No dragging/smelting involved. |

![]() | Re: A Cool Trick I thought it was Salvage Bag, but I honestly couldn't remember. So, I just said Smelt thingy ![]() It actually works with just about anything. I do this with my carpentry/tinkering as well, creating boxes in a bag until it overweights and then throwing the whole bag in the trash. I've been meaning to post it for a while, but hadn't thought of it until a recent thread cropped up that reminded me. BUT, I would be careful with tailoring. It will make bandages out of all of your cloth if you give it the wrong combination of cloth. Last edited by holmedog; 3rd June 2008 at 10:24 AM. |

![]() | Re: A Cool Trick If it is anything Like Tailoring, then you do not need the tool/instrument in the bag, just the resource. I put the cut cloth in the bag, the sewing kit in another bag, and just keep hitting Make Last until as you say, the message comes up that you cant put anything more .... Then I just remove the remaining cloth, do the recycle thing, add more cloth and continue on. The sewing kits are all stacked on top of each other with the make last button on top of the stack ..... ![]() Last edited by EnigmaMaitreya; 3rd June 2008 at 10:36 AM. Reason: Clarification |

![]() | Re: A Cool Trick You are right about the tool. I keep mine in the bag for cleanliness reasons. |
