If you get it to the 120 level, you should get a slight bonus from the time on the arcane focus. I believe there were other bonuses to getting it to 120 but I dont remember them nor can I find it documented at this time.

Agreed with all of the above. Going to 120 is WELL worth the (considerable) time spent doing it. Watching the damage on a DF is total payment for that time investment.

Yes you do a bonus, but I think it is if the player with 120 cast. Instead of like two hundred thousand something seconds you get like three hundred thousand seomthing seconds.

At higher skills, you get longer lasting focus.
You heal more per second from gift of renewal and it lasts longer.
All timed spell effects last longer at higher skills.

And from my experiments with peerless hunting on a GM weaver and my friend on a 120 weaver, I can say with certainty that 120 weavers definitely do more damage with WoD (same focus, same SDI, and he did 450 to my 375 on a level 3 focus fighting Mel).

I think that you mite find at 120 spellweave u can get further tiles away from your target and cast wod

This may sound really dumb since I have played this game forever it seems. . but how do you know exactly how much damage you do when you are in a peerless and there are tons of peeps throwing spells say at a grizz. . ? I have often wondered. . I am always paying attention to whether or not that "beastie" is gonna hit me with that goo and melt my armour!

Your damage shows up in red numbers above the MOB.

If i remember correctly it is distance to the target at 120 u can be further away and strike with wod i believe uostuff has a graph showing skills and strengths at different levels
