I'm just wondering what is the advantage is of getting over 100 spell weaving? I'm almost GM and am wondering if it's worth getting a powerscroll.

Better success rate with WOD

Plus the scrolls are pretty cheap priced also. I believe I paid like 300K for 120 scroll.

You don't do more damage or anything just better chance at casting WOD?

"Just" is a loaded word, in this case. I don't believe any of your spells do any more damage being over 100 vs under, but success rate on WoD is a major thing. Without an arcane focus, when you still hit for 400 points of damage on WoD, an increased rate of success would mean major damage potential, particularly for a wraithform necro, spamming WoD on the Dark Father or such. It would be far better (in my opinion) to succeed at WoD more often, than to sit and wait for a non-fizzle when facing such a foe. Just my 2 cents...

Aye, it is very important to land a hit with WoD every time, since it takes so long to cast, every unsuccessful cast lowers your DPS drastically.

At 117 spellweaving you will never fail at casting WOD

And make sure you cast arcance impowerment first. I do around 450 without arcance impowerment and over 550 with it. And if you are a necro mage, cast wraith form first then arcance impowerment and then just cast WoD as many times as you can. I haven;t ran out of mana since I started casting wraith form first.

350K for a 120 on Sonoma. Now I just have to take the time to get to 117.

i love the spellweaving and hoping soon i will be at 117 on my tamer,my necro and my mage. Gift of life and WOD ftw in my opinion

If you get it to the 120 level, you should get a slight bonus from the time on the arcane focus. I believe there were other bonuses to getting it to 120 but I dont remember them nor can I find it documented at this time.

Agreed with all of the above. Going to 120 is WELL worth the (considerable) time spent doing it. Watching the damage on a DF is total payment for that time investment.
