I would be hiding steath dp fencer and just watch guys in dungens. They would be fighting and get blocked or I would block them in with steath and let them die or just kill them for the last hit then I would loot them and say "more more more please".

Ahh, sounds like fun as long as you're not the victim of this procedure. At least recalling fond memories makes me daydream about my early experience with UO.

Nothing to do with thiefing, I remember creating my first character and beginning in Britain. Going east towards Cove (without knowing at the time), I got outside the guardzone and saw some reds along the road. Having barely read the manual and having a vague notion about them not being a good sign (their names being red and the rhyme "If your heart is true, don't kill blue" kind of gave it away), I tried to just run past them hoping that they wouldn't notice me or just don't care. A few tiles away I lost my connection though, and when I logged back in I was dead.

That was kind of sad at the time, but reminds of good times now.
