Lockpicking

After a 3 year break from Ultima I decided to come back .Got out my THunter and for some reason I can not get my lockpicking up.The only way i have gained so far was because of the GGS.Has lockpicking changed with GM locked boxes? Or can I still go to at least 95 lockpicking with them?I have been using GM locked boxes to. Maybe I am being a little impatient, or has something changed in the way you gain lockpicking now .

What is your lockpicking at now? If it's too low you need to use boxes made from a less skilled Tinker.

My lockpicking is at 91.1

Take a box, go to Twisted Weald, and get discoed by a Satyr. Then pick the box over and over, you should get much faster gains. I used 5 boxes, made a UOAssist macro to pick them and then relock them, and took my lockpicking from 95 to GM in about 4 hours in Twisted Weald. I've heard of other folks getting there even faster.
