100 or 120 Stealthing

Is there a big difference between 100 and 120 stealthing?

Not particularly. You can move more (up to 15 total?) spaces with 120 without a skill check. However, I've found that with leather armor there is no discernable difference. I never fail a check.

Oh wow I notice a huge difference between gm and legendary stealing. My thief is gm and I equip shadow dancer leggings for 120 now. What a difference. And with stealing +20 scrolls so cheap...why not?

As far as I'm aware, 80 stealing allows you to stealth 100% of the time in leather or [mage armor].
120 allows you to stealth in up to 17 stones of any armour.
Beyond 17 stones, and you "cannot hope to move silently in such heavy armour"

Also, the higher your stealth, the better your opposed rolls for being revealed.

Oops - ok, I forgot about the revealing piece. I have noticed that I get revealed quite a bit by monsters in the Labyrinth when I'm trying for minotaur artifacts. My stealth is currently 110 with twinking.
