I'm currently training archery and am at 65 skill. How many arrows/bolts (roughly) will it take to get to GM? 110? 120?

It took me around 5000 to go from 65 to 85.

I don't remember the rest. I trained mostly on the harpy nest in ilsh though, you get so many feathers. Then I just bought the shafts from the bowyer (they sell for like 3gp each).

Do you remember how long it took you to go from 85 to GM or higher? Much appreciated, thank you!

My numbers arn't exact but there close. I used about 10k bolts to go from 40 to 100. I have a quiver of infinity and I loot my corpses to get bolts back so actual number will be about 12k if you don't get arrows back. Im
only at 103 now and have gone thru about another 2500 bolts. I gained about a full point in an hour of killing ogre lords. Hope this helps.

Here's an update for you 103 to 104 in 55 minutes killing ogre lords 700 bolts used after recovery.

Well, today I started at 65 and on/off of playing I am now at 76.6 and gaining... I've also used roughly 2000 - 2500 arrows to get there.

104 to 104.7 in over an hour and about 1200 bolts used. I felt like a hit a bit of a wall so I went and did Earth elementals. got .3 with 125 bolts in about 5 minutes. Go figure.

woah ! After a couple more thousand bolts I am now at 84.2. I would say that roughly 5000 from 65 to 85 is about right for me as well.

I had a 40% SSI repeater and in about 3 hours I went from 50-95. -.- I just shot at Lizardmen in the Sleeping dragon spawn. If you don't have bush I here its slower. Using lightning stike speeds it up, or thats what they say.

Since then my 40%SSI bow has disappeared... no clue where it went, was insured, made sure it was always repaired. I have been using a more PvM killing base weapon, not skill up and I get very few gains. Its a lot slower though.
