Once you get into 70's instead of a golem to raise archery, anatomy, and tactics, try Ogre Lords like this...

Get a mage to use circle of transparency to spot this rock in the basement of Despise, by Ogre Island. Target the space behind the rocks, then teleport using last target. Mark a rune.

Behind the rocks the ogre lords can't touch you, and you can shoot at them as long as you have arrows or bolts. The gains are faster than a golem, and you get loot as well.

Ahhhh, come on DiP! Cut me some slack. At least it isn't a golem. I like to look at it another way, that the darn rock is there, and my daughter, in her long ago quest to mark strange runes, marked one that I could use for another skill development.
