Interesting to note the change on vendors. Max holding is now 2 billion.

Posts like the OP's lead me to suspect that, despite Bag of Sending changes, the gold farms are alive and well. Once again, the Dev team has managed to cripple the casual player.

Some quick calculating:
1 char generating 200K/hr = 4.6M per day * 7 days = 32.2M/week
translates to roughly 31 characters farming non-stop to generate ONE BILLION GOLD (Dr. Evil pinky motion).

Curse those (presumably third world) gold farmers!

Hmm...I missed Silverfoot's point, I think. You're under the impression he runs vendors and can no longer keep the gold on them?

Still, what sort of vendor can generate 1B gold each week?

I'm doubtful they have vendors on all shards that need clearing of gold. Over on Stratics there was a big fuss kicked up pretty recently about a gold farming ring hitting the trogs and fan dancers, and having witnessed them first hand I can definitely say gold farming is alive and well.

That would explain the demon-slayer-equipped people I see recalling in to Deluccia everyday, all day.

I won't say this happens or doesn't happen, but on LS some players may or may not take perverse pleasure in dropping bag balls around the recall points of some Trog farmers... These farmers, apparently, are afk while their character farms, because from eyewitness accounts, and quite possibly first-hand experience, they just stand, surrounded by bagballs, for several minutes before they time-out.

I would, IF IT WERE LEGAL, call upon players to block the entrance to the Painted Caves on their shard(s) with an entrance-way of bagballs, if they were so inclined. It (apparently) is great fun watching the scripter/farmer stand in a daze in front of said bagballs.

Of course, I would never do such a thing, since I think it is probably against the rules...

Sorry for jumping on this thread with this... don't mean to hijack it!
