It really does vary from shard to shard but...

just to give you a figure to start with...

Over on Lake Superior both start at around 600, 000 and up, when I can find them. Very few players (again at least on LS) are still selling these as most players already have all that they need.

Wish you luck in finding them. Have you tried getting them on your own?

Ahh! Warsong knows I love to answer these kinds of posts because I'm a FindUO junky. Here goes:

First - In general, expect to pay about twice as much for the receipe as you'd pay for the item itself (Sonoma standard). Items like the Scrapper's receipe sometimes go for more.

Here is the breakdown that I see today:
Pendant
Low: 800K, Atlantic
High: 3M Cats
Average: 870K

You can disregard the 3M as a price gouger. The price for the pendant receipe is hovering right about 1M. The price for a pendant itself floats between 400-600K, so that's about right.

Scrapper's
This item is slightly different, because folks often try to mass-produce this super spellbook in search of shiny shiny modification bonuses. The price for a vanilla scrapper's is between 100-400K. The price of one with a decent mod quick balloons past 1-3M.

Low: 800K, Napa
High: 5M, Sonoma (but everything is highly priced on Sonoma)
Disregard that price in favor of the 1M price tag on Atlantic.
Average: 875K

It's worth noting, however, that there are extraordinarily few of the high-end receipes for sale on any shard. You might not find yourself in the position of haggling if you really, really need it.

Neither of these is currently for sale in Luna on Baja, sorry.

The interesting thing I forgot to mention is that I have 3 Scrappers and 2 Pendant. And I got all 5 over the weekend during 8 hrs of questing! I should stopped after 3 and ran out to get a lottery ticket! I don't think I have ever been that lucky.

You know you could ask to swap recipes on your shard for the ones you need, it can not hurt to ask around in game. Or put it in your profile, if you are a bank sitter.
