Tolagal Orcs used to get drunk, beat each other up, gamble, train (beat each other up), patrol (beat intruders up) demand tribute from the Shirefolk, capture Humans and hold torturing lessons...

Orcs aren't really 'Human', so you can't really roleplay being friends, falling in love, going on adventures, etc (unless you want to rp a silly 'lovable' orc) so it is rather hard to actually RP something other than bashing another living creature's brains in, unless the Orc is intelligent or ambitious. Most aren't.

Scattered opinions after reading the thread

Quite complicated this issue I understand.. Tabbitha made a great post on page one in my opinion. Personally I would see orcs having some sort of advantage in combat since they obviously have a few disadvantages in most of the situations involving non guilded players.

Would be great for the evil guilds to band geographically somehow, agreed.

I remember playing in UD, and it took only a few seconds from I were spotted until people gathered to kill me, which I naturally expected and was hoping for. I understand this is somehow different, alas I only present my opinion and offer no solutions.

On a side note, my character played in Tremere for almost half a year without being to finding solid proof of vampires within the house.

Orcs dont need any advantages in combat, from what I saw the other night all thats needed is a few lessons on crosshealing and co-ordination

I drilled snagi and dajali on this in Tolagal and we used to defeat much better equiped people regulary, plus the training sessions themselves make for great rp!

Tremere is indeed still running. I would ask though, what do the good guys out there want from "evil" guilds?
As an obvious, instantly recognizable enemy, the orcs are both blessed and cursed with having to face constant threats and agression from others.
Whereas a vampire is just another human, he doesn't wear his evil like a mask. He could be your friend, the fellow in the bar who always buys a round or your shopkeeper, even.

Geographical proximity? Why should a vampire wish to dwell near orcs? They smell awfull and are notoriously ill mannered.

Being a lazy orc, I will admit skipping a few pages from this thread.
But how I feel about roleplaying evil races is simple.
We don't expect flowers and cuddles from the good guilds, so yeah, we won't hang around towns and taverns much, but do keep in mind that this means any good fluffy roleplayer encountering a bunch of evilness will often result in the good fluffy roleplayer taking a dirtnap just for the sake of being good and fluffy!

We roleplay evil races, this means we do not care much for diplomacy and are often a lot more combat oriented.
In short : We dislike good people for the same reason good people dislike evil people, dislike often results in a fight, we all adhere the 30min knock out rule, deal with it!
