Gnomy we all know you cheat in RPVP! Its ovious but...
You could do what I do..! Chug pots like theres no tomorrow, that'll give you abit more.. survirobility? (SP? and is it a werd?) Though I think you use axes thus making pot chugging not happening... I'd go with the suggestions above, learn to run goodlyful... It can save your life -and- make you ubah..!

I really only need to read Tabbitha's posts in any thread, cos shes always right!

The timer isn't the problem imo (as an Orc), and nor is the RP. Everyone's been getting a little better at RPing with Orcs so we have a little bit of context in fights, so thanks for that.

What Grukthar is annoyed about is that once res'ed a wounded Orc must wear a resrobe for 30mins before entering combat again. He believes that even a wounded Orc would still fight. This may be the case, but its not fair to allow Orcs to fight once res'd when everyone else cant. Just to clarify...

-You dont HAVE to wear the res robe once you leave the Battle Area, or return to where there are no opponents whom should be aware of your recent death.

-You may attack someone completely different in that time zone, as long as tehre are none of the same people.
:Can attack Trin, then attack Vesper.
:Can't attack Trin West Gate, then Trin South Gate.

The whole thing is designed for large scale fights, the sort that used to occur a few years back. When a prolonged encoutner could last 30mins+, the rule was made so that people couldn't re-enter combat again and again!

Give it long enough for Pk's to get to know that easy kills hang out there and you will have pk raids on a daily basis. And now after aos they can res straight away with a mondain healer and have no stat loss, it would be constant attacks untill all are rp'ers are dead and looted. On the other hand if you had a dedicated group of guilds living there i'm sure a few could fowm a defence force with pvp alts.

That didnt happen in the past, didnt happen following AoS and doesnt happen now.

Any time we have had PK troubles was usually self-inflicted.

In general the PKs who used to like in Naeloth helped defend it and other friendly PK guilds would give us help and support. There are enough PKs out there now who will or woudl do the same again - esp if they get a chance of a decent fight

And if we were sitting in a house role playing it didnt mean squat if there is a red buzzign around outside

In referring to orcs, I'm just curious if the Bloodrock clan on Great Lakes is still around and active, or RP for that matter? I was a member of a ton of different RP guilds back in the day, including Bloodrock clan (the peon stone, I didn't have time among all the other guilds to work very hard in that one), and they had a great system amoung those guilds with I believe it was a 30 min timer. I died a lot, but still had a ton of fun because the RP was great. Guilds that I remember playing in, listed in no particular order, but were great:

Royal Britannian Kilted Police
Royal Knights of Britannia
Royal Craftsman of Britannia
Royal Knights of Redemption
Highland Guard (don't remember if they had two stones)
Order of the Silver Serpent (again don't remember if they had two stones)
Bloodrock Clan Orcs (think I only stayed on the peon stone)
I think I had a character in the Yew Militia, and some others for a little also.

Ahh, the days of having 3 acct.'s at once, that was a lot of fun and a lot of work

I remember the High Council starting up and also the great leaders and mentors for RP I had.

I started right before the orc invasion of Cove (though I don't remember for the life of me when that was).

i never said anything about avoiding death/knockout
also i switched to a bone harvester and shield but i can remove the shield since my physical resist can't get any higher. thus allowing me to use potions. i think i should however, create an alchemist.
