Who is against me RPing a crab-person?

He would probably be the same height as a human, have two claws, a crab-like body and humanoid (shell-armored) segmented hands. I imagine he would be part of some deep sea-dwelling race.
If I make him he will be a mage, since I need to try something different from a warrior.
Eh. I just made an illithid for Reann, since Illithid is my second favorite D&D monster.

You seem to have alot of ideas Omera... as long as you stick to -one- of them before changing.. i guess people might accept a crab too...

It all depends on how -You- pull it off tho. I'd myself beat you down, crack your shell and BBQ you or boil you with some nice herbs...
But thats me..

I am sure no one will actually be AGAINST you RP'ing a crab PERSON.

However as Gnomy said,it all depends how successful you are.

I have seen one or two 'diverse' players pull it off and more fail.

One example was an Orc called Gorbash.

His player RP'd him so well, he was able to travel to most towns in Trammel, and even became a 'free citizen' of Trinsic.

He was invited to many social events and welcomed to many he wasnt invited to.

Another example of excellent roleplay I saw was a Centaur.A lot of thought went into appearance etc.

So I would say, if you want to RP it,then do it.

Thats ONE of the things that makes UO so unique.

You can be whatever you want to be.
