Cherry,a very good point,one which I hadnt thought of.

I think the idea of appropriate books is good,but also so is specific target areas for EV's.
will probably get around the problem, by setting up a heal/rezz point,and not actively taking part in the fighting.
I hope to keep it stocked with a range of resources,to save people sailing back and forth to Trinsic.

I think we should alternate ourselves between Magincia Fel and Trammel to be fair to both facets.


There is a lot of history in Fel that means a damn lot to some folk, and we should be willing to risk all to help out there also.



I know some folk just wont go to Fel,but I am sure there will be enough who will venture there to help out.

I would imagine the CoM will be defending Magincia well in Felucca.

This is gonna be quite a difficult thing to set up. If i'm targetted by a DF or other nasty creature with my Archer im not gonna stand still to avoid someone else's EV. Perhaps it is an idea for the guilds who have mages that wish to fight with EV's to temporarely peace the other guilds so accidents won't happen? Before i get targetted and accused of being not cooperative or attacking the mages amongst our community: No i am not, i'm just trying to think of a solution that allows the mages amongst us to use their EV's without harming their orange community members. This way we could fight as one instead of spreading ourselves out all over Magincia. (and that was what it was about right? to do this attack as one community?)

By the way ! If you are going to set up rez points: Isn't there a guild called the Sosarian Red Cross? Might want to see if perhaps they and us can work together in the rezzing/healing places?

Will be interesting to see if the rewards fall more often in the felucca scenario as well like other stuff in the past.

As for Evs i think its down to individual mages and guilds, as not everyone wil be hunting the deamons at the same time, plus there will be hoards of other players as well there. Much like with the scenarios in which Flame led many expeditions. I went on a quiet a few and there were never really a lot of rpers about ( at least with their rp characters ). I know a lot switch to more effective hunting characters for such events.

When guilds go out together they can switch tactics as and when required. Plus i think being killed by an EV will be the least of a players problems if the spawn rate from previous scenarios is anything to go by.

The SRC are still about but they havent been running their usual first aid stations about like they used to( that i have seen ).

Cherry is my main hunting character and my main rp character - i only have the one rp character - i dont use a thousand alts - and i would like her to be part of the event. However she is a mage. I offered a solution of how mages could be used.....and both in rp terms and practical terms fighting in different quarters actually makes sense. If we are trying to pull the community together then we should do so in realistic rp terms and accept that some wouldnt necessarily want to fight along side one another - for that instance - some rp guilds might rejoice to see the hedonistic magincia fall only to look to taking it for themselves once the dust has settled.

I certainly am not going to ask my GM to peace all the rp community - and im sure others with mages would not be keen to do so either - as that does not seem to be the right step towards bringing the community together.
In my view, the way to bring the community together is to get it to work on rp grounds - consider the histories of the guilds, consider that some would wish to save magincia but not necessarily work alongside one another exactly (for instance rp should surely dictate with past history that Vesper and Trinsic, or Grd and Elves (for examples) would wish to work side by side, consider as mentioned that some rp guilds would relish magincia falling - and then work on a battle plan that can accomadate all of that. Bringing the community together is a good thing - but it does not necessarily mean that all past enemies should suddenly become pals.....rp is more complex and more fun than that

Looking at the map of Magincia the Healers is almost directly across from the bank so if there is any need of a healing station it should be at the healers itself i feel. Also the deamons are set to come forth from the Moongate which is way to the NE so far away from the Healers. There should be no need to have a healing station at either of the Docks of Magincia or Trinsic, ( at least for now ).

Looking at what was mentioned above i feel that at least in some part it will all have to be OOC, plus we should not forget about calling the rest of the community. It would be nice to see the likes of past events where the likes of Jordan Jurrel and Flame have acted as focal points for rallying people together.

Yes it would be nice to get there involvement. I know they have attended other invasions/events we have had.

It would be good indeed,however,Jordan Jurrel I dont think his player would break the story line and bring him out for this,which is a shame indeed.

As for Lady FLame's player,after the way she was treated in game last time,she vowed to never head such a rally again.

Hopefully though, she and Mord,will find this exciting enough for it to entice them back to help us out

I am sorry if my trying to think of a way to avoid nasty accidents offended some of you in any manner. Was just trying to come up with a temporary solution. I would find it very frustrating to have guildmembers nagging me during that event about being attacked by people's EV's. Thousand apologies, i was merely trying to suggest a possible solution to avoid that I'll stay quiet now and not think of solutions anymore
