I really like the idea of bringing the "Avatarian" aspect of Europa more closely together, though I'm not sure I agree with that player's proposed way of doing it. The differences between the "sects" are such that to just brush them all aside and declare "this is canon" seems a little off both OOC and IC. One could, I suppose, get the Churchmen of guilds like Yew, Cove, Skara Brae, and Magincia (the latter two being essentially Avatarian) together and host some kind of "Council" of the Nicaean kind, to establish some form of Orthodoxy. I think the best bet would be to agree on conformity in certain areas while allowing for differences in others.

There already exists a council of knights, which might be an idea to build on. The Knights Conclave consists of several guilds which independently has great variations on «Virtue», and the Codex, as we know it from Ultima Online.

Ta' muchly to the both of you. I've been around the F4G for a while now, too - just haven't posted much. Hopefully that'll change when KR is released, and I make a return to UO (it's been the greater part of four years since last I played).
