Yeah, but they all stayed on the battle field and didn't run off. I see where you're coming from though. But as I said, I was just throwing those coloured balls around.

Re: Penalty for dying

The running off is riddiculous, but thats only because most people neglect the 3 screens rule.

As for statloss, no im not a fan. 99% of people when they die put on resrobes, and RP being injured/dazed. The problem is the stealthers that sneak to their corpse, loot and leave without any fruther interaction above the PvP.

If we were allowed to loot in combat, we could take their stuff and force some RP out of the RP-griefers. No names mentioned *cough* MERC *cough*.

I'm in favour of RP PvP looting, because no one obeys the yellow bag rule. maybe armour & uniform should be left, but pots, regs, petals, and maybe a weapon, that should be lootable.

ahem... moderator stepping in...

Please keep it civil towards each other guys.

I am now receiving reported posts from this thread.

While I don't mind open debate about the subject, I do mind people getting upset over trolling.

Cheerio, and I'll keep an eye out on this thread.

Dont mind me and Klion, we are both adult enough to take snipes and petty insults without bursting into tears and running to moderators. Unlike some i know *grins*

Anyways i do agree with him..

If the community was mature enough and responsible enough, we would not need any looting rules. You would be free to loot whatever you wished and honourable enough to leave stuff you knew was valuable or prized by the individual. But sadly you guys cannot even take a dirtnap without crying like tarts.

Re: Penalty for dying

What has maturity and responsibility got to do with? Nothing. The most 'mature' people in the world turn into complete morons when they are looted so it's clearly not maturity thats needed.

Whats needed is good GM's to make sure nothing explodes out of control.

Somewhat yes, but please dont over-play the role of a GM, your ego aside GM's are not that important really.

Is this because I insisted you were booted from ALLGM as you didn't have a guild? I can't believe you're still upset about that. Let's try to move forward eh? If only for the sake of everyone elses time.

Anyway. GM's are VERY important individuals when it comes to this sort of thing, they hold authority and command the respect of their members.
