Dont mind me and Klion, we are both adult enough to take snipes and petty insults without bursting into tears and running to moderators. Unlike some i know *grins*

Anyways i do agree with him..

If the community was mature enough and responsible enough, we would not need any looting rules. You would be free to loot whatever you wished and honourable enough to leave stuff you knew was valuable or prized by the individual. But sadly you guys cannot even take a dirtnap without crying like tarts.

Re: Penalty for dying

What has maturity and responsibility got to do with? Nothing. The most 'mature' people in the world turn into complete morons when they are looted so it's clearly not maturity thats needed.

Whats needed is good GM's to make sure nothing explodes out of control.

Somewhat yes, but please dont over-play the role of a GM, your ego aside GM's are not that important really.

I never did, i never lost it once ingame. Infact i cannot ever remember anything that happened ingame thats ever resulted in me acting like a twat. Of course out here on the forums, well anything goes here

Is this because I insisted you were booted from ALLGM as you didn't have a guild? I can't believe you're still upset about that. Let's try to move forward eh? If only for the sake of everyone elses time.

Anyway. GM's are VERY important individuals when it comes to this sort of thing, they hold authority and command the respect of their members.

Re: Penalty for dying

Of course, but it isn't a rule without an exception. However, I don't see how this has anything to do with the topic at hand?

Hmm, you really think i would dislike you for that? *laughs* I quite admired you for that, you were the only one to take me too task and enforce the rules.

*contact me in private if you really need to know why your a tit*

Re: Penalty for dying

Returning to the subject of the topic...

Roleplaying injuries and the death robe rule, works fine, as far as I am aware of, but nothing really prevents someone to return to a fight.
My idea, when suggesting this, was to have a game mechanism that disencouraged (is this a word?) anyone to return to a fight if they were knocked out. This should only happen if you got killed by a member of an opposing guild and not in PvM.

Also, do you think that if the game had this kind of implementation, the rule of death robe would be obsolete?

Keep those comments rolling...

Re: Penalty for dying

THAT is a very bad idea. The winner can just kill them again if they want to.

Re: Penalty for dying

Looting players is the only way really, its the only possible concequence for dying that makes sense really. I also think insurance should still be allowed, i mean if you really want to hold onto your gear then you pay a cost and the player who bested you at least gets a reward.

Think of it really, i mean if people had the threat of loosing all their gear. Do you think you would get one man armies challenging armies? Do you think people would be as quick to combat?
