Now THIS is what I call a Hunt P

Hail one and all! This is your pvp roving reporter! Didn’t know you had one? Neither did I until about a week ago. Stratics recognizes the fact that the pvp community has become mobile, transferring from shard to shard. But even though the players move around, they still have ties to old friends - and new. PvP news can be of interest to those on more than one shard, therefore is now Community News.

This news report is from the Pacific shard, where a public Harrower was spawned Sunday night.

Needless to say this post drew a lot of attention - and brought out a lot of chest thumping.

Sunday night rolls around and I head to the star room about 30 minutes early. On the way in I see a few members of FL heading that direction as well. One stops to tell me ‘Hi’.

Relieved of body and baggage I could now watch the show without worry – and the show had already begun. FL was already setting up in the star room – judging from the chest thumping posts, to try and prevent the last skull, the Oak’s skull from being dropped.

To ensure there weren’t any stealthers present, FL began to EQ. Out popped a blue named ‘i r da one’. He was quickly killed, but not before he placed the Oak’s skull. The public Harrower was about to begin – 20 minutes early.

The location this time was Covetous, level 3. Only one way in and out - it was a defenders dream. FL made sure they were the first ones there.

While the reds set up fielding at the choke point, the blues seemed to be just standing around chatting. Most likely they were madly icq’ing guild members to hurry up and get to Covetous!

So where was the first Harrower? Being watched over by a lone red who didn’t look like he was having much fun.

As word traveled, more FL reds showed up.

And blues…

And reds…

Since going through the choke point was suicide, a couple blues tried res’ing inside. The two managed to kill the red who found them, but were soon overwhelmed. The attempt had failed.

Upstairs, the True Harrower was up. A stealther managed to get in, but with tracking and detect hidden the stealther was soon seeing black and white again. *grumbles*

When the True Harrower dropped, the blues ran into the poison fields to pass over the scrolls.
While the reds at the choke point stood firm

I headed outside to see how many people were left to fight FL when they pushed to leave the dungeon….

‘Hey, where did everyone go?’
‘Despise.’
‘FL just finished the Harrower, are you guys suicidal?’
‘Yup. Suicidal. That’s us. Coming?’
‘On my way!’

By the time I got there, the battle was in full swing. Good fun!
