This is sad for us to lose Elendrik/Jordan Jurrel who enhanced our role play whenever s/he could do so.

I think its a terrible decision and would like to see the EMs, Seers and the like reinstated.

Mass scale pvm fests just ARENT a substitute for the warmth and care that Elendrik put into Europa shard.

So look forward to mass monster bashing with no personal touch =/

Ah yes.. UO keeps on doing dumbass things and ruining the fun for the players. Nothing new there really.

This is awful news the characters played by the EVMs really brought a unique feel to UO which no other game has.

Is there any way we can voice our thanks to Elendrik/Jordan Jurrel for the work they did ?

What a stupid decision - unless they have something better in mind of course.

Suspect it will just be dull lagged up monster bashing for "events" from now on though.

We had two top notch EM's. Sorry to see them go.

I have a good guess that the last EM we had reads these boards now and then (since it got hinted that he keept up with us all) , so just posting here is good enough for him to see it.

I will sure miss him becuse it aint about the big events that makes events special, its the small things that show that they really do care about the playerbase.
Not items but just that they care to show up and roleplay a bit, or to say hi , to help out with a storyline that is specific for that shard.
Simply put , as good as their new monster bashing system is (and i dont mind it) it can not and will never be as good as having a real person there that can think for itself and see too it that for each shard they get what they need and not just what the majority of people across the shards need.

Anyway.. ill miss him becuse Jurrell was a blast to have around.

For those shards who had a great EM, I'm sorry for your loss

. It is never fun to lose a player but someone that can really help and do things is even worse

I think Jordan Jurrell/Elendrik were the same person.If so maybe we will see the return of Jurrell,as he wasnt an Em .

We can but hope.
