Thar reports I 'ad been 'earing of late from Magincia were strange. Bu' in all thar reports, demons wus mentioned. So I decided ter go back and look fer meself. As soon as I got ter Trinsic docks I culd see summat were up. Thar wus injured folk all over thar place an' more streamin' off thar ships as soon as them docked. As fings looked a little dodgy I decided ter leave all me armour and anyfing wha' wuld rattle behind so I culd walk in thar shadows witout bein' seen or 'eard.

Thar sight wha' greeted me wus dire. Thar city wus burnin' an' folk appeared ter be evacuatin' thar place. I faded inter thar shadows and proceeded ter creep through thar streets. It wus 'ard ter dodge thar flames bu' I managed most of thar time. As I moved further east I saw demons strollin' thar streets. Viscious lookin' fings. I 'ad thar misfortune ter see one leap on an' slay one of that folks trying ter defend thar place.


They used strong magics. I culd feel thar air tinglin' wit it. As I moved further east, thar number and variety of demons increased. They seemed ter be workin' thar way through thar city slayin' everyfing they culd.


I wus able ter spot three sorts of demons. Thar were ones I 'eard folk call Dark Fathers wha' wus devastatin'. Once them latched onter yer it wus near impossible ter escape. Thems summoned lots of undead fings too, so ifn them didn't get yer thar others did.


Then thar wus ones called chaos demons. Them wus red bu' I ne'er saw any of them killin' fings so I dunno 'ow dangerush thems is. Last ones I saw 'ad huge wings an' kinda reminded me of Balrons. Thar wings wus shiney an' reminded me of pearls.Thar one I saw whar right ter thar east bu' I didn't 'ave time ter investigate further owin' ter bein' spotted by a couple of Dark Fathers.


I ran as fast as I culd bu' them trapped me in a room an' thar next fing I remembers wus wakin' up at thar docks in Trinsic. Sumone 'ad distracted thar demons an' pulled me ter safety. I ne'er saw 'oo it wus, bu' I owe them me life!

We needs ter investigate further East ifn we can. Thar number of demons seemed ter increase from tha' direction. It wuld be a dangerush mission bu' necessary!

Muldran's Notes

After visiting the Shrine of Honesty, I decided there would be no harm in seeing what was going on in Magincia. (Oh, on an unrelated note; Tim usign the gate from Rhovanion to Vesper didn't make him ill, but from Ice Isle to Trinsic did. Location\Circumstance? Hmm, better stop this stream of conciousness stuff.)

Where was I? Oh yes, if I read the last few words again, I'll find out what I was writing. Although I didn't really need to write this, I could have just kept it in my head. And that. Oh...

Right. Making our way to the docks in Trinsic, Tim and I saw people standing guard there. On the Magincian side, there were a few people practicing healing for those unfortunates who had fallen in battle; among them was Goober. Hadn't seen him for a good long time. I should ask him if he still has an apple from the tree.

Anyway, Tim used his sigil of obfuscation, and moved into the town unseen. I, in the meantime, just strode cautiously forward, hiding under the wizards hat I had borrowed. With an awful noise, a creature that I had not seen in quite some time (referred to as a Dark Father) leapt off a building, and started battling with a man whom I later found out was called Hoagie. (Isn't this a sandwich?)

I threw several spells of healing at the chap, and kept him alive for a little while - but then, sadly, the creature hit him too fast, and he fell.

And then the thing turned on me.

So I ran.

Back to the docks.

Followed by the Dark Father.

Which summoned several undead, set fire to the dry wood and boats, and proceeded to eviscerate everyone there.


Fortunately, once I was pulled from the water, and brought back to conciousness in Trinsic, the people there were not terribly upset. However, they did warn me that it was probably better for me to stay in Trinsic, lest I end up in the water again. Because they'd put me there.

In the absence of Lord Gorthyn many of the other members of the Court have been working to strive to hold the demons back from the Docks in Magincia.
Cherry, Decardo, Bertrand, Torc, Bohemond and Calis Mor to name just the ones i have seen with my own eyes.

So far it seems the firestorms that the Demons can call down have been keeping a lot of the folk of the lands away. Mainly i suspect for the fields of fire are of such maginitude that any pet like creatures are soon turned to ash. So at the time i write this report its mainly a few bards and the steady vollies of arrows that appear to be holding the demons back,( As can be seen below ).



Praise the Virtues that at this time it seems enough for they are indeed being held in check. The docks are intact and the creatures rarely manage a foothold near the docks.

I asked Torc to paint a few images of the scenes i had seen in battling around Magincia.



What bodes most promissing is i have seen the people of this land banding together, offering help in the heat of battle and in the respites after each fight. Strange how the people of this land always come together so strongly when a common threat reaches out from the darkness. I can see why Jordan Jurrel was so fond of those who are born to this land.

And so they came forth hour after hour , day after day. But the battle this day was different from those that had gone before. Now the Demons came forth in larger numbers, but noticeably was the absence of the crazed Berserkers. The Dark Fathers seemed less numerous as well.




But it was as if they had opened the Gate to the very doors of the Abyss itself. The demons were coming through wave after waves, too numerous to count.



I fought for many hours side by side with Gwalchmai. Since his return to us he seems to have a unwavering faith, his optimism even made me smile when all seemed lost around us as we battle each wave...our armour..weapons and shields all covered in the burning blood of the demons. Indeed such was the faith that surrounded Gwalchmai that it lifted the spirits of myself and those who fought around us.




Through the haze of the battles new shapes i saw, new creatures, i was later told they are the Light and Void demons. i am not sure of their purpose or powers as their time in our land was short lived.




And so we shall stay and fight......till we prevail or death overtakes us. And we shall stand with so many others of Britannia who believe that Magincia shall not fall !!!

Today i saw at long last reinforcements had arrived from over the sea and has rallied the defenses of the town. They have fortified the harbour location and have brought some hellfire of their own in the shape of cannons.I took time to make some sketches of the defenses whilst waiting for my rondevous with the other members of the Court who were coming to battle with the Hell spawn.


The Demons are still coming forth from the Black Portal and many adventurers stand against them.


There was a Dark Elf preaching the downfall of Magincia at the docks but she was not being taken seriously by the Dutchy Guards on duty there.


I battled there for a shorter amount of time this day than i had hoped for. I pray my efforts and those of the other members of the Court who accompanied me have had some inpact on the hell spawn.
